JR are working on a fantastic Head of Operations role for a financial services business in Nottingham. A brand new role due to growth of the business, you will be a personable and professional team manager who has worked across multiple departments.Responsible for the design and maintenance of operational policies and procedures, overseeing client and investor service, you will be a responsible leader committed to productivity and regulatory compliance.Responsibilities:Team management across three seperate departments with three direct reports.Ensure all Operational policies and procedures are maintained and reviewed at appropriate intervals and are compliant with regulation and controls, supporting company strategy and maintaining standards.Ensure effective process timetabling and management of operational procedures across all departments, so that tasks and activities occur efficiently and to deadline.Manage risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, laws, service standards, company policies and procedures, best practice, contractual obligations and agreed control processes.Evaluating overall business performance (KPIs) by gathering, reporting, analysing and interpreting data and metrics, both internally and externally, in line with operational performance requirements.Manage change and new services for clients, ensuring that all time spent is properly recorded to ensure optimum fee recovery for the business and client profitability.Key skills:5+ years’ demonstrable experience at senior manager level, Preferably as Head of Operations in a similar role.You will have worked in a financially regulated environment with client/customer service experience.Strong knowledge of data analytics.Excellent planning and organisational skills.A strong leader who is able to motivate a team and delegate accordingly.Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.Fantastic communication skills.This role will be office based with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week.This role is being advertised by JR on behalf of the client.You may also have applied for roles such as: Operations Director, Head of Customer Operations, Head of Customer Service Required skills
