Job Description

Head of Marketing £55K + Additional BonusesNottingham(Relocation package on offer)Page 1 Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Head of Marketing to join a Group of Companies that specialise in the import and distribution of Electrical Goods. 2021 was an exceptional year of growth for the Group. As part of their Growth plans for2022/2023, our client is looking to take on a Head of Marketing.As part of the role, you will be responsible for

  • Putting together, executing, and implementing the marketing strategy for the Group
  • Developing brand strategies for the individual businesses
  • Working closely with the board of directors and heads of departments
  • Overseeing and managing the existing marketing team (training, development, and recruitment)
  • Staying up to date with the latest marketing trends
  • Developing the overall web strategy(s) in line with the Group objectives
  • Developing, setting, and administering a yearly budget for the marketing team
  • Putting together and overseeing the digital marketing strategy (Paid, Organic, Social, Content)
  • Working closely with the sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximise profits and market share.
  • Translating brand objectives and defining effective digital marketing strategies across online trading, eCommerce, CRM, SEO, PPC, Email, Mobile and Display
The ideal candidate will have
  • 5+ years Marketing Experience
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce
  • Experience overseeing digital marketing campaigns across Ebay, Amazon, Google Ads
  • Strong working knowledge of Paid and Organic Search
  • Strong working knowledge of Digital Marketing
  • Experience growing and managing a team
  • Experience putting together and managing marketing budgets.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially minded with a customer-first attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working at a senior strategic level
Nice to haves
  • Background working within an OEM environment
  • MSc/Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
