Benefits include 25 Days Holiday and Pension Scheme.Full Time, Permanent Closing Date Weds 19th July at 12.00pmMy client a reputable and established professional membership body in the education sector based in the UK is recruiting for a Head of Learning.The RoleThis role is an opportunity to create a strategy for the development membership bodys growing portfolio of courses and programmes, using the best evidence, technologies and features, and lead its delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCreating a strategy for the development of a compelling professional learning offer for members and leading its delivery.Ensuring a good learning experience for every participant through quality programme design, evidence-informed content aligned with theory, guidance and values, expert delivery partners, accessible learning materials and modes of delivery, and effective qualityassurance.Using market insights and participant feedback to continuously improve services.Managing budgets to meet income and targets and reporting on performance.Leading and supporting the adoption of technologies to improve service delivery and learner experience.Hosting programmes online and in person as appropriate.Working with colleagues in marketing, membership and policy to support the recruitment and onboarding of participants.Using market knowledge to keep the professional development offer relevant and responsive to learner needs identify new opportunities to develop new programmes, features and services.Supporting and, where appropriate, leading the implementation of appropriate learning technologies and designing the new processes and activities to support its adoption.Staying up-to date with developments in professional learning design, technologies, and best practice.Person SpecificationYou will bring proven experience of developing and managing professional learning services, ideally gained within the education, membership, or governance sectors.Knowledgeable about the effective design and delivery of professional development.Quality-focused, capable of overseeing successful services and projects.People-centred, adept at forming and maintaining positive relationships with direct reports, staff of all levels, and external stakeholders.Data driven, with a relentless focus on monitoring impact and setting and hitting ambitious targets.Experienced in commissioning and briefing trainers and course leaders and developing syllabuses and learning materials.A strong, clear communicator, verbally and in writing.Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.Skilled in scheduling and delegation.Proficient in record keeping and reporting.An excellent leader, nurturing staff to have agency and deliver high-quality work at pace.Reliable, flexible and adaptable.Committed to ongoing development of yourself and your team.To apply to this role please send your CVDue to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
