We are delighted to be working in a retained partnership with DSL in their appointment of a new Head of Finance. DSL provide creative, innovative and premium quality promotional solutions and products in the UK. For almost four decades, theyve developedproducts that have become synonymous with convenience. Initially launching in petrol forecourts and later selling through Amazon, DSL realised it was essential to provide the same customer service and trust with their customers as they do with their partners,so they launched their own ecommerce in 2022 to ensure that their customer can buy with confidence directly from DSL.With plans to grow already well under way, this is an excellent time to be joining the business. The business continues to develop and grow, despite the multiple challenges caused by the pandemic, Brexit and increased product costs. Working closely with theMD, the work carried out by the Head of Finance will be integral in helping shape the Operational and Strategic direction of the company. A new ERP system is to be implemented, so experience in this field would be welcome. There is a lean but competent financeteam to be managed on a day-to-day basis - and the Head of Finance will be expected to not only lead the team but develop the individuals to their full potential. This is a hands-on role in terms of the production of the accounts and report but it is what is done with the accounts from that point which is integral to the impact of this role with KPI management playing a key role. The business needs someone who can developthe existing reporting before advancing it to create pertinent reports that aid visibility to operational managers. The person will work closely with key managers and the MD to produce the budgets and forecasts - and be asked to manage cash flow and reforecaston a regular basis. This is a Head of Finance role that will be truly impacting the business. We are looking for a Qualified finance leader who has experience working within industry, in a fast paced and commercially led business. The candidate must demonstrate they have the abilityand ambition to change and grow with the organisation.
