Job Description

ONYX InSight is a global technology and engineering organisation in the renewable energy sector. Our advanced sensing, software and machine learning products improve the operating efficiency of wind turbines around the world. Headquartered in the UK, we have offices in the US, Korea, India & Australia, and will be expanding our operations in Europe during 2021.Due to maternity leave, we are seeking a finance professional to lead reporting services across our growing group for 12 months from April 2021. Reporting to the FD, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience a scale-up tech organisation with global reach. You will be qualified, or recently qualified, and bring some previous experience in a SME context.Key Responsibilities;

  • Reporting and consolidation of group management accounts on a monthly basis
  • Act as super-user and within the team for our forecasting and reporting system
  • Provide reporting and forecasting support to our regional colleagues and service providers
  • Ensure that inter-company transactions are recorded and reported accurately & consistently
  • Respond to requests for ad-hoc reporting and data from stakeholders across the organisation
  • Oversee project accounting and assurance around procedure for revenue recognition
  • Identify and implement opportunities for the modernisation and improvement of reporting systems

  • Circa 3-5 years industry experience in a group/divisional/organisation reporting role
  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Motivated by the opportunity to gain experience in a tech scale-up/renewable energy environment
  • Experienced user of ERP and forecasting systems
  • Resilient and tenacious; comfortable working to deadlines
  • Understanding of data quality assurance processes
  • Excellent data analysis skills; attention to detail
  • Great stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Expert user of Excel; experienced user of MS Suite applications
