Job Description

A growing business is looking for a creative, fresh thinking and talented Graphic Designer to support two beauty brands by understanding their requirements, and taking projects from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed within given timescales.They are looking for a Designer with a strong portfolio and experience creating designs across a wide range of mediums including digital and print. The quality of your work needs to be impeccable, and you need to be ready to wow them with your creative ideas,whilst working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict brand guidelines.This is a hybrid working role, 3 days per week from home and 2 days per week in the office, plus a 14:00 finish on a Friday!As a Graphic Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing design strategies for two differently focused beauty tool brands (Mass Market & ); tasks include the creation of standout and cut through creative assets (print and digital) to support both brand and product communicationsfor all channels including website, social, email, packaging inserts, digital/print ads, and POS signage.
  • Providing creative support for the confident brand positioning of two very differently aligned beauty brands.
  • Monitoring the market with regards to global trends in the beauty industry, design trends and production developments.
  • Briefing and coordinating external service providers such as agencies and designers.
  • Maintaining close cooperation with internal interfaces such as Sales and Marketing.
  • Working with Brand Management to support in concept development and creative direction of photoshoots.
  • Providing brand documentation support, including style guide alterations and brand PowerPoint templates.
We are looking for a Graphic Designer who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Previous experience in the role
  • A Graphic Design degree or similar qualification
  • Knowledge in retouching and resizing of raw photography
  • Experience in packaging design, including alterations required on work supplied by design agencies, packing insert design, infographic and icon creation, good understanding of final packaging artwork requirements.
  • Expert skills in creating high end design for print and digital
  • Excellent skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), PowerPoint, Microsoft word and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and experience of digital graphic design for all digital platforms
  • Additional skills relating to graphic design projects such as photography retouching, colour knowledge and illustration
