Job Description

Graduate Sustainability ConsultantLocation: NewarkSalary: £17,000 - £21,000Ref: TJ1179Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with a sustainable building services consultancy on their quest to find a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Nottingham.This consultancy is looking for a passionate graduate they can train in a variety of areas.The role:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Providing concise technical advice to clients
  • Undertaking SAP calculations for conversion, extension, and new-build dwellings
  • Inputting and undertaking CO2, energy and sustainability statements
  • Undertaking any relevant related services (e.g. commissioning and ventilation testing)
    • Once you have progressed, our client would like to then train you in areas such as BREEAM, PassivHaus, and wider aspects of building physics.What you will need:
  • A relevant degree related to construction, building services/physics, sustainability etc or equivalent experience
  • Desire to learn new skills and progress within the built environment
  • Ability to lone work and work within a team
  • Drivers licence for site visits/travel when required
  • Preferred: an understanding of BREEAM or Code for Sustainable Homes
  • Preferred: an understanding of Part L Building Regulations or SAP
