Job Description

Graduate QESH Manager.A fabulous opportunity for a recently qualified graduate or someone with a few years experience looking for their first senior role to manage the (QESH) Quality & Environment accreditation and the Safety and Health compliance throughout the business.The successful candidate will work closely with the manufacturing management team, to ensure QESH standards, systems and processes are maintained in line with ISO9001, ISO14001 and the applicable Health and Safety legislation to ensure that accreditationis maintained and compliant to legislation.Ideally this person will be passionate about quality management and the environment, someone looking for their first senior job role to lead the companys continuous development of systems, processes, and best practice, ensuring they maintain accreditationto the relevant standards. A self-starter able to work on their own initiative with the ability to work well within a team and a real desire to collaborate with others to achieve the companies goals, strong inter-personal and influencing skills are essential.Person Specification:

  • Should be degree qualified in a relevant subject
  • Advantageous to have some relevant work experience, within the manufacturing industry
  • Should have a passion for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
  • Be hands on, methodical, well organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and plan and manage own agenda
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relations with all employees across the organisation
Salary & Benefits:
  • Up to £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Professional institution fees and training will be paid for (NEBOSH and Lead Auditor training)
  • 36.5 hour working week - early finish on Fridays!
  • Free on-site parking
