GENERAL LEDGER ANALYST£13-£15 P/HCOLWICK, NG4 (HYBRID)FULL TIME, TEMPORARYSF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Ledger Analyst to join a thriving and established business on the outskirts of Nottingham. This is a vital role to their business and will be involved in the day to day accounts receivable function andsupporting the wider business to ensure that transactions are allocated accurately.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Work as a point of contact for the business for Transactional processing within Customer receivable cash allocation.Serve as interface with internal and external parties for escalation and problem resolution pertaining to Bank transaction, to ensure timely and accurate Cash AllocationSupport Finance leadership in problem solving and fact finding analysisProvide local and regional support to end-users on finance policies and proceduresPerform Finance Transaction activities, including but not limited to Bank Reconciliation, Payment Transaction, or Cash AllocationSupport financial close activities, as neededPartner with key stakeholders by translating feedback into process improvement recommendationsServe as change agent as new technologies and processes are introducedConduct user acceptance testing for system upgrades and changesProviding ad-hoc reporting for leadership, effectively communicating with our business partners and participating in special or cross-functional projects. Assist with providing requested information for internal and external auditorsIndividual may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work period’s, or otherwise to balance the workloadThe Ideal Candidate:Keen to learn administration activitiesProficient analytical skills and data analysis ability with the background and a deep knowledge of business systems applications.Accuracy and detail orientedGood customer service skillsThis role is being recruited for on an on-going temporary basis, the company will offer a competitive hourly rate and flexibility of 3 days working from home.
