Years.comare currently looking for aFull Stack Developer (Shopify)to join our team. This role can be fully remote, with occasional travel to our office in Nottingham. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.We are proud to offer a wide range of benefits, including:

About the Full Stack Developer (Shopify)role:In this role, you will be responsible for improving our Subscription proposition built on Shopify and features as part of our Infrastructure growth map. You will be working closely alongside the Product Manager and CTO to drive how data is captured, controlled,repurposed and used as valuable insights for our clients to act upon.You will also be responsible for ensuring our website is not only beautiful, but converts and as beautiful UX. You should care about not being average, but being extraordinary.This role is vital to the Product Vision & Strategy and critical to the value it delivers to our customers.Your responsibilities as our Full Stack Developer (Shopify)will include:
  • Working with the CTO, Product Manager and Engineering team to ideate software solutions
  • Designing microservices and server-side architecture
  • Taking full ownership over the continuous improvements of the website
  • Developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software
  • Creating security and data protection settings
  • Writing technical documentation
  • Implementing strong UI throughout the website alongside conversion rate optimisation
  • Reviewing analysis of the customer journey and pain points
  • Reviewing website conversion rates and suggesting how better design can improve the overall conversion rate of the website
  • Using content management systems to ensure optimal efficiency
What we are looking for in our Full Stack Developer (Shopify):
  • In-depth experience with Shopify Plus and Recharge (Essential)
  • Understanding of Java and Python programming languages
  • Experience with JavaScript/JQuery, CSS and JavaScript frameworks and Version Control/GIT
  • Responsive design skills
  • Testing & debugging skills
  • A self-starter with a growth mindsetthe role offers quick progression to a Head of Engineering
  • Experience with browser developer tools
  • An understanding of customer journeys and conversion rate optimisation
  • A passion for not just designing pretty but for looking at the data and designing effective, high-converting, great UI customer experiences
