Job Description

We are looking for a Front End Developer to join us here at Ginger Root. We look after a range of clients large and small and need someone to join the team to help deliver an ever increasing workload. The successful applicant will join our fast growing web& digital team. We are looking for candidates who are outgoing and enjoy customer facing work, are self-motivated problem solvers and keen to keep progressing one of our fastest growing teams. Our Web & Digital Team work closely with our Creative and Marketing Teams to build innovative, beautifuland clever websites and apps.How we work

Requirements
  • Experience of a similar role
  • A good background in Javascript frameworks
  • Good UI/UX skills to build complex modular layouts and interactions.
  • Git/GitHub
  • Design - An appreciation for great design and its importance in the work you produce.
  • A good understanding of web usability standards and cross-browser development
  • Understanding of asset bundlers such as Webpack / Gulp etc
  • Strong experience with using SASS/SCSS
  • Experience with using SVGs for custom animations
  • Usage of Node JS / Composer
Experience in the following would be beneficial:
  • Knowledge of Magento 2 and headless systems
  • Experience with using Vue / Nuxt or equivalent
  • Google Analytics
  • Asset optimisation for web performance
  • Experience of using AWS / Digital Ocean
