My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Flood Protection Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Flood Mitigation Consultants based acrossthe UK. This role is home based and covers sites across the East Midlands. The office location is Nottingham.You can also be based in the South East.You will receive excellent in house training to specialise in Property Flood Resilience.It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Hydrology, Civil or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood RiskAssessments and ideally Flood Mitigation or Flood Surveys for Properties.Applicants are required to have a valid driving licence to attend site visits.It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience mentoring team members and managing Projects.This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Mitigation and Property Flood Resilience for Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers. You will be basedfrom home and visit sites across the East Midlands to complete Property Flood Resilience Surveys. You may be required to attend team meetings occasionally.The role will also involve;
