  • Work as part of the Finance Team to deliver financial accounting services to all BWB and CAF UK based Companies.
  • Working with the Group Financial Accountant in the accurate production of the balance sheet reconciliations for all Group Companies, including maintenance of the monthly reconciliations identification of any errors and the resolution of any differencesidentified.
  • Understand, prepare and process corporate month end journal postings, including prepayments, WIP, revenue and cost reallocations in line with multiple companies policies, salary journals.
  • Assisting the in production of statutory accounts for all group companies, including support with external auditors.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual National Statistics returns accurately and on time.
  • Taking responsibility for the maintenance of the fixed asset registers for the different companies, including review of additions and to identify assets for disposal, and application of FRS16.
  • Responsibility of ensuring correct coding and posting for all costs for all companies, including checking of daybook, and batch posting.
  • Detailed reconciliation of intercompany accounts including recharging and interest reconciliation.
  • Be a point of contact and liaise regularly with all internal contacts for all Group companies both in the UK and Spain.
  • Identify improvements to processes and escalate for implementation.
What youll bring Must hold a recognised accounting qualification or be working towards e.g. ACCA, CIMA Must have extensive practical experience of balance sheet reconciliation, including maintenance of fixed asset register. Sound working experience of accounting principles in relation to WIP recognition, Revenue recognition policies including FRS15 Working knowledge of all accounting standards including implementation of FRS16 Experience of supporting with external audit process. Experience of intercompany accounting processes including VAT and TP policy. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills to macro standard Strong numerical skills with a keen eye for detail Experience of producing reports for external and internal stakeholdersExperience with producing statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS102What we offer
