Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity that has recently become available for an autonomous and technically strong Financial Accountant to join a leading telecommunication busines in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will work closely with the financemanager to summarise, analysis and report all financial transactions.This is perfect for a Top 10 Practiced Trained first-time mover.Key Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant

  • Produce the monthly financial accounts pack for each trading subsidiary to include a profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow on a timely basis.
  • Take ownership of all figures within your portfolio of subsidiaries.
  • Support the group financial accountant with month end management reporting for review by UK and Group Finance Directors.
  • Quarterly bank reporting to include financial accounts extracted from the above, covenants and ratio analyses, tenancy schedules and sundry reporting as required by the banking agreements.
  • Responsible for loading accounts data into Cognos and undertaking reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Liaison with asset managers to ensure compliance with all banking consent requirements
Key essentials of the Financial Accountant
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Computer and IT literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Finance Applications
  • Ability to analyse multiple sets of data
