Job Description

Job Title:Finance Systems Manager Function:Finance Location:Hybrid, home office with some travel to Nottingham Type:Permanent Salary:£37,000-£50,000 Closing Date: Monday 22^nd August 2022 NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Finance Systems Manager, to help manage and maintain our current systems and the relationship between finance and IT. This is a project management role that will assist with the roll out of a new system and one which wewill further develop to improve our data and reporting capabilities. In this Project Management role, you will have responsibility for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of reporting systems within the savings team. You will take control of interpreting system issues and work closely with IT to help develop fixes to resolveissues for the wider team. You will manage the relationship between finance and IT to own and ensure the resolutions of data and system issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. These issues will relate to the category tower / customer information with the aim of clarifyingreporting questions and bringing reporting to a satisfactory conclusion. What does a Finance Systems Manager do at NHS Supply Chain

  • You will be the point of contact, and escalation point, for data or system issues affecting the finance savings team for IT and all internal and external stakeholders.
  • As an analytics subject matter expert, you will bring the latest industry approaches and tools into the design and delivery of the new savings system.
  • One key responsibility of the role will be to manage and develop the new savings management system.
  • You will take the lead on savings team project activities, where required and on behalf of the Senior Benefits Realisation Manager
  • Proactively support the Savings team, and wider SCCL business by providing accurate, timely information and insights to ensure they are in a position to support NHS Trusts.
  • Responsible for the accurate timely delivery of projects, system fixes and information to agreed timescales
  • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders and collaborate with them to provide insightful data and analysis to meet their planned and ad-hoc requirements.
  • Be a subject matter expert, and business leader in the established savings methodologies.
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful
  • Project Management experience gained within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of building excellent professional relationships and good coordination of issues within a team providing system performance solutions.
