Finance Assistant - Real EstateNottinghamSalary depending on experienceJames George Recruitment have partnered with a highly successful business in the Real Estate sector that is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their Finance department.This is an exciting time for the right professional with a strong commitment to join a successful business. This prestigious opportunity will be suited to a person with finance and admin experience.Responsibilities: Maintain the sales and purchase ledgers in a timely manner and to a high standard. Foster healthy customer focused relationships with suppliers, customers and employees alike. To support urgent requests in the delivery of customer projects without sacrificing the companys financial procedures or delegations of authority. Maintain cashbooks on a daily basis. Processing of employee expenses and credit card purchases. Productions of daily and weekly reports relevant to the role. Provide guidance to non - financial staff on the day-to-day financial processes for the company. Bank recs (weekly and monthly) including reconciling weekly rental payments Update and maintain the electronic records of all relevant financial paperwork (not least purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses and credit card receipt)Skills and experience: BA degree in Accounting, AAT qualification or industry experience preferably within the Real Estate marketHigh attention to detail, procedurally astute individual with a keen attention to detail Good computer literacy and spreadsheet skills to a good standard Sound working knowledge of one or more accounting packages (Sage, xero, Quickbooks)Good to know: Working days are Monday to Friday This is an office-based role in Nottingham
