Job Description

Post 1 - 37 hours (5 days), 2 shift rota-system between 6am - 7pm, year-round.Post 2 - 22.2 hours (3 days - Wed/Thu/Fri), 8am - 4pm, year-round.The Bulwell Academy is an 11-18 academy serving families in and around the Bulwell area of Nottingham. Here at The Bulwell Academy, we expect the best for and of every student and this is made possible through our knowledge-richcurriculum offer and excellent extra-curricular provision.We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistants to join our dedicated Site Team. The core purpose of the role is to assist the Facilities Manager and Deputy Facilities Manager in the efficient and effective management of theAcademy site, including accommodation, buildings, and grounds, ensuring that they are safe, clean, secure and accessible and to assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety at all times. Duties will include opening and closing the building, clearingof litter and leaves, porterage duties, checking the BMS systems and reporting any issues, minor repairs and responding to emergencies e.g., flooding, or broken glass.We are looking for customer focused individuals who can work well as part of a team as well as on their own initiative and have an organised and professional approach to work.
