Its about giving people the chance to unleash their full potential, through their perfect new role.About the Client:The Department for Education manage childrens services and education, including early years, schools, higher and further education policy, apprenticeships and wider skills in England.What Will Be Your Day to Day TasksThe Project Support Officer function will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to lead on several administrative and project support requirements, you will do this by completing a range of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Working on projects throughout their delivery life cycle to ensure they are set up and running effectively.
  • Calling responsible bodies, schools and suppliers to ensure the outstanding schools are on boarded onto the programme; and where schools are already engaged, the team must ensure that installations are completed, and claims are processed by the end of thefinancial year.
  • Working within financial spreadsheets and reviewing incoming claims and supporting financial information requiring validation ahead of processing for payment.
  • Aid the wider team to deliver, by identifying risks and issues and escalating where appropriate.
Skills we will be looking for:
  • Internal and stakeholder management/engagement
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills to balance conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable and skilled in Microsoft packages (word, excel, outlook etc.)
  • Having the ability to speak with confidence and present evidence-based data to the wider team would also prove beneficial for to the role.
