Are you an experienced EA/PA looking for a challenging and exciting temporary position If so, this might be a job for you!We are recruiting for an interim EA to support the devolution programme and be part of the team working towards the establishment of the East Midlands Mayoral Combined County Authority (EMCCA), following the historic signing of an East Midlands devolutiondeal in August 2022.This programme of work is complex involving many stakeholders including city, county, district and borough councils, the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership, local universities and colleges, and Government departments. The programme is high profile with intensiveinvolvement from leaders and chief executives, as well as senior stakeholders from across the region and central government.Typical duties would include:• Day to day management of the diaries of the Interim Chief Officer - Devolution and Interim Director of Devolution• Preparation and organisation of multi-agency meetings and events including booking venues, preparing agendas, issuing invitations and papers and taking minutes/actions – in particular any meetings the Chief Officer or Director needs to schedule with stakeholders,plus a fortnightly programme board, fortnightly team meetings, and weekly chief executive meetings.• Managing a shared devolution team inbox and managing/coordinating responses to queries received into the team• SharePoint/teams site maintenance and filing• Making call or emails as directed by members of the programme team for information needed to support delivery of the programme. e.g. following up on queries, contacting Programme Board members.• Occasional procurement support in terms of chasing/tracking invoices• Meet and greet and support for basic enquiries• Proficiency with suite of Office products: Word/ Excel/Teams/PowerPointThe role will be hybrid with County Hall West Bridgford as the office base, but there may be a need to travel on occasion within Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to support meetings as required.This role is urgently required with a start date in Early January 2024If youre interested in discussing further, please feel free to apply using the details on this advert.
