Job Description

Job Title: Executive AssistantLocation: Mansfield, NottinghamSalary: £30,000 per annum pro rataJob Type: Permanent, Part time (22.5 hours a week)About the role:We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to fulfil a job share role (3 days pw), supporting the Group Directors. The role will involve tasks such as organising meetings and events, maintaining diaries, creating presentations, proof reading andminute taking. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational and communication skills, and be able to work to set deadlines, with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Directors in their day-to-day activities.
  • Create agendas and take minutes of meetings (internal and external).
  • Create presentations and reports.
  • Publication and magazine proof reading.
  • Provide secretariate support.
  • Organise and book external events, e.g. Parliamentary reception.
  • Take an active part in the Events Committee.
  • Organise staff events.
  • Assist with HR duties.
  • Project management on an ad hoc basis.
  • Scheduling and calendar management.
  • Organising meetings.
  • Minute taking and monitoring related actions.
  • Event management.
  • All aspects of secretariate support.
  • Proof reading.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • At least 2 years experience in an EA or PA role.
  • Educated to Level 3 / Level 4.
  • Good command of English grammar.
  • Good level of experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Project management experience would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of a Certification Body or similar organisation would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality, integrity and discretion.
  • Time and workload management skills - ability to multi-task.
  • Quick thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with staff at all levels.
  • Keen eye for detail.
