If this sounds like you, please read on to find out more about the Energy Engineer - Net Zero Transition opportunity.How will you support usIn this role as an Energy Engineer you will support internal stakeholders across all our brands with their progress to Net Zero carbon emissions, initially through energy management then progressing to other Net Zero related activities. We as a business have signed up to reducing this by 2050 and want your help!On a daily basis, we expect you to;

  • To provide stakeholders with support for sustainability improvements, particularly in the area of carbon reduction. You may be required to travel to our sites on a weekly basis
  • Provide energy improvement, cost and justification for annual Manufacturing Business Planning process
  • Implement and promote best practice opportunities throughout all manufacturing facilities
  • Lead monthly meetings with plant energy champions to assure usage/unit of production, sharing of best practices, strategy improvements and resource needs.
  • Continuous development of plant energy champions and engineers in energy systems

  • Proven experience within Process or Chemical Engineering
  • A good understanding of the manufacturing process
  • A good understanding of the principles of sustainability
  • Experience within energy & carbon management and Environmental management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and manage multiple internal stakeholder relationships at all levels
