Job Description

Employers Agent / Quantity Surveyor Nottingham £39,281 - £44,248 per annumThe Pelham architects team is growing! We are looking for someone with experience in an Employers Agent role within the social housing sector.We are an in-house design consultancy for NCHA, a registered social landlord building up to 500 new homes each year. We also provide architectural and cost consultancy services for other housing providers within the East Midlands region.The RoleIt is an exciting time to join our growing team. In this role you will provide a full range of Employer’s Agent / QS services, construction aftercare services and construction site inspections.This varied role involves Contract Administration on new build housing schemes, acting for the client. This will be mainly as an Employers Agent role under the JCT Design and Build contract.RequirementsIn addition to your great communication skills and your ability to plan and organise multiple projects, you will have

  • Experience working in the capacity of an Employers Agent, within the social housing sector
  • HND Qualification in Quantity Surveying or associated construction discipline, plus experience working within either a construction or maintenance environment
  • Current and relevant knowledge of building processes and applicable statutory requirements
  • Experience managing people
  • Valid Driving licence and access to a vehicle
