Job Description

Electronics Project Engineer| Nottingham | Salary - £39000 - £42000Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Engineering company. You will have a sound working knowledge of electrical, electronic and computer-based systems. You will expected to drive process enhancement and product improvement activities,working closely with the Product Development teamResponsibilities:

  • Working at concept and R&D design stage to ensure product is fit for purpose and compliant
  • To coordinate integration, delivery and installation of existing product.
  • To assist with design of new products and participate hands-on in prototyping, first article and testing activities.
  • Assist the Product Support team by providing in-depth, product-specific support.
  • Create and maintain product support documentation.
  • Work with the Product Compliance Engineer to create RAMS and maintain local work instructions (LWI) & standard operating procedures (SOP) relevant to the management of projects.
  • Work within & contribute to the improvement of quality management system (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Coordinate integration, delivery and installation of existing products on time and to budget, liaising with other business functions as required.
  • Control, create and modify drawing packages and BoMs for existing products using the companies ERP (Visual) system
Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree in a related field, or suitable experience in lieu.
  • 2-3 years engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience with complex integrated electrical, electronic and computer-based
  • Practical electrics and electronics, including prototyping and fault-finding
  • Practical software coding e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python
  • Computer networking expertise
  • Technical writing
  • Knowledge of UKCA, CE, SIL requirements.
  • Use of ERP management systems
