Job Description

Job Title: Electronic Assembly Process Engineer (Ref:19672)Location: NottinghamPackage: up to £30k p/aJob Type: Full Time / Permanent (Monday - Friday)The Role SummaryMy client is looking for an experienced Electronic Assembly Process Engineer to implement and maintain process control in all aspects of the electronic PCB assembly process.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain process standards
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Carry out process audits
  • Report writing and proposals
  • Involvement in equipment specification
  • Ensure process audits are carried out in a timely manner
The Candidate:
  • HNC in Electronics or relevant experience
  • IPC J-STD-001 trained
  • Familiar in inspecting PCBs and rework to IPC-7711/21 standards
  • Thorough knowledge of electronic assembly processes and the equipment used such as wave and selective soldering and SMT
  • Experience of Industrial Engineering e.g. Takt Times and maintaining the company data base
  • Structuring and producing process documentation e.g. WIs
  • Experience in Process Engineering
  • Familiar working with ERP systems
  • Design the process flow considering Health and Safety
  • Knowledge of Automation
  • Familiar with MSDS and COSH
