A housing association is looking to recruit a Domestic Abuse Team Leader in Nottingham to work within their IDVA service.The roleAs Domestic Abuse Team Leader in Nottingham you will be overseeing a team of workers that directly support victims of domestic abuse. The main duty of this role is the operational management of staff to ensure the service is delivered effectively.Responsibilities* Line management of several support staff working with people who have been victims of domestic abuse* Conducting 1:1s with team members to ensure they have the right support to do their role* Key working with clients if required by the service* Advising members of the team on escalated issues using detailed knowledge of domestic abuseCandidateThe successful candidate for the role of Domestic Abuse Team Leader in Nottingham will have:* Experience working within a senior role within supported housing and ideally domestic abuse* A genuine passion for working with vulnerable people* Experience of working with domestic abuse, women or victims of sexual exploitation* A DBS check within the last 12 months and/or on the update service* Be available to start immediatelyThis role gives the opportunity to gain employment within a reputable organisation within the market.
