Job Description

Ref: 14199Role: DNO innovation and Data Consultant (Energy)Location: Hybrid working - NottinghamSalary: £75,000 + 10% bonusSummary:We are recruiting a DNO Innovation and Data Consultant to join an organisation at the heart of energy regulation. You will be tasked with driving forward data-driven engagement within the industry, and to maximise opportunity for innovation that builds onDNO data projects. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the challenges faced by the GB distribution networks, have a passion for innovation, be outward facing, and have demonstrable experience of working with a range of stakeholders.   • Identify and progress project and service-based opportunities relating to data and digitization to support the DNOs through the energy transition,
  • Develop DNO-focused business opportunities and proposals based on customer needs and existing data services through stakeholder network
  • Identify and communicate with stakeholders with a focus on user needs
  • Work closely with internal teams to drive collaborative project development
  • Programme reporting to Head of DSO Transformation
Skills and experience required:
  • Expert knowledge of electricity distribution networks, distributed energy resources, flexibility, and the changes affecting the energy industry
  • Understanding of technology systems employed by the distribution network operators
  • Experience of working with distribution network operators and wider energy stakeholders
  • Experience working in both industry and consulting ideally
  • Excellent and demonstrable communication, report and presentation writing skills
  • The ability to analyse, visualise, model, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts
  • Understanding of agile methodology and how to apply it to all aspects of work
  • Can-do attitude to resolving issues and managing risks
  • Well organised, structured approach to programmes of work
