This is made possible through our knowledge richcurriculum offer, our CET Knowledge Connected Programme, our clear and concise Behaviour for Learning Policy and our Attitude to Learning Rewards Programme.We are seeking to appoint a Director of Attendance to develop and drive our whole school attendance strategy by supporting all members of the school community in the continuing effort to raise and sustain attendance and punctuality levels.The post holder will work closely with the Vice Principal for attendance and pastoral teams to support students to overcome barriers to attendance and punctuality in order to maximise their participation in learning and active engagement in school life.The post holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of attendance, punctuality and truancy including monitoring, analysis, intervention, and liaison with outside agencies.Applications are encouraged from candidates with experience of working in an educational, attendance-related setting, with a clear understanding of the education system and the issues affecting truancy and non-attendance.The ideal candidate will have the ability to form positive and effective relationships and communicate confidently with all stakeholders including colleagues, parents/carers, students and other professionals.
