Job Description

Our client, a specialist construction organisation, has a brand new and exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Lead, working 2-3 days per week in the office and the rest remotely. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Partner, the role is to maximisethe companys digital marketing assets, increase the reach and visibility of all digital projects and lead developments with CRM systems and supporting technology. Working closely with Marketing Campaigns Partner and Marketing Projects Partner, you will createdigital marketing campaigns to support new product launches and capabilities for the company and its subsidiaries.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ongoing management, maintenance and development of the companys digital asset suite.
  • Maintain an effective development roadmap and keep a keen eye on performance, usage and the wider analytics of all web pages.
  • Take a proactive leadership role in the progression of the companys strategic digital aspirations, making recommendations to the Senior Management Team and Chief Strategy Officer.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Campaigns Partner, Marketing Projects Partner and the Digital Content Leads, to plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Provide advice and support and work closely with the Digital Content Leads to design, build and maintain the companys social media presences.
  • Measure and report performance on all digital marketing campaigns, taking a cross-platform approach to testing such as UX testing, multivariate, user acceptance and online focus group and audience testing.
  • Identify cross-market trends and user insights and optimise spend and performance based on these insights.
  • Develop robust relationships within the marketing team, ensuring that developments to the value proposition are effectively translated to the digital suite, as well as guiding the rest of the team to ensure that new content, imagery and structural updatestake place to support the improvement in performance of all of the digital assets.
  • Act as the main point of contact with retained digital development agencies, including SEO support and other services as required.
  • Keep abreast of new techniques and technology which will maximise the marketing mix, to provide digital marketing counsel to stakeholders and colleagues to improve their digital skills, content and campaigns.
Person Profile:
  • Educated to degree level with a qualification in marketing or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing (client side, agency side, consultancy or similar creative digital agency experience) to create and deliver multi-layered digital marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels and of working with clients to achieve specified outcomes using a range of digital tools.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and working knowledge of ad serving tools, HTML, CSS.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with the ability to report on complex digital marketing data and derive meaningful insight.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of email marketing best practices, including split-testing, deliverability optimisation, personalisation, automation and GDPR compliance.
