Job Description

Digital Analytics Manager Location flexible - fully remoteSalary negotiable, to c.£70,000 Global Insurtech has an opening for a Digital Analytics Manager to be responsible for the implementation, planning, strategy, analytics, app attribution and multi-variant testing tools across their mobile applications and web portals.You will also help clients understand their audiences, enhance the digital user experience of end users, and increase mobile based product conversions.The job

  • Planning and executing strategic implementations of app (and web) analytics and other tool SDKs, and/or marketing tags.
  • Auditing app analytics and tag management implementations to recommend improvements.
  • Defining and developing relevant engagement funnels, and extracting actionable insights from the analytics design and tools
  • Planning and executing enhancements to app analytics and tag management tools and processes.
  • Working directly with developer resources (internal, contract or client) to create implementation specs, documentation, and data dictionary.
  • Implementing A/B tests
  • Identifying additional relevant user behaviour or traits that should be tracked.
  • Drafting proposals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct training (internally as well as client-facing).
  • Reporting insights and related recommendations to the product and executive teams.
Candidate background
  • Extensive experience with mobile analytics platforms including Google Firebase, Flurry, Google Analytics App + Web, Mixpanel. Experience with alternatives such as Amplitude also a plus.
  • Experience with tag management, CDP, and event tracking platforms for mobile apps such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Segment, mParticle, Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager/Launch.
  • Hands-on experience in the definition of analytics taxonomies and instrumentation of mobile applications.
  • Understanding of how to instrument a website with analytics in order to gather insights from marketing channels used for promoting our company and products.
  • Experience with PPC, SEO, display ads, social media, email, SMS, push, etc.
  • Experience working with clients on a consultative basis to advise them on how to best maximise their users experience using mobile app products.
Preferred (but not essential)
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android SDKs, and/or mobile app development experience.
  • Experience in instrumenting analytics in hybrid development platform.
  • Related programming/coding experience.
  • Ability to build and use database queries.
  • Experience importing analytics and other data via APIs into spreadsheets (via AppScript, SuperMetrics, Excellent Analytics, etc.), visualisation tools (such as Klipfolio, Tableau, Cyfe, Bime, etc.), and database and data warehouse platforms (such as GoogleBigQuery or Hadoop).
  • Experience implementing split testing code and building experiment variations (using Google Optimize, Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer, Adobe Target, etc.).
  • Experience integrating analytics metrics and dimensions with marketing automation and other backend systems (such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, etc.).
  • Experience with omni-channel communications analytics tools and analysis.
