There is an exciting opportunity in Eye casualty for a successful candidate to develop both their management and clinical skills within the speciality of ophthalmology. The post of deputy charge nurse/sister is becoming available. The post does not only involve deputising the band 7 but also learning to be an emergency opthalmic Nurse practitioner.The department is currently open from 07:00 until 22:00 and 7 days a week. Applicants must be able to work flexibly for those hours and on any of those days.It is a busy and very interesting area to work in and if successful, you will be dealing with adults and children with opthalmic trauma, vascular issues, neurology problems as well as post op problems and so on.You must have a minimum of 2 years opthalmic experience.Bring your whole self to work for us at NUH.
