Harriet Ellis are looking for experienced Dental Assessors to coach, teach and mentor apprentices studying on the Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals holding a relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Dental Nursing Assessing. You must hold an assessing award or be working towards the following: TAQAA1/CAVA or something similar. Within the role you will be working with a caseload of learners at different stages of the qualification. Inducting, training, reviewing, assessing, monitoring and tracking learners, you will be visiting their practises and carrying out observations as they perform their duties.Delivering Apprenticeship standards, you will also be responsible for coaching learners to achieve skills, behaviours and knowledge to pass their Apprenticeship to a distinction level wherever possible. You will be mainly based at home, supporting the learners remotely and carrying out some workplace observations in practice, but travel to practice destinations is an essential requirement. You will also be expected to attend online meetings each month as well as standardisation meetings held quarterly to share and exchange knowledge amongst the experienced team.As the successful candidate, you will have substantial experience in Dental Nursing and have the right attitude to work remotely and as part of a long standing committed team. You will have key performance targets to achieve within the role.
