Job Description

Im currently recruiting for a Data Engineer for a global retail powerhouse based in the UK. Ive provided some additional details below:

  • Salary: £35-55k based on experience
  • Location: Nottingham + Flexible working 2-3 days a week

Technical skills were looking for:
  • Considerable experience with software development or database experience
  • Microsoft BI stack knowledge, including PowerBI, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
  • SQL Development
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft SSIS, such as developing and implementing ETL packages
  • Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell
  • Capability in programming in 3GL languages (such as C#, C, C++, or Java)
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure, and tools including Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark, Azure Database, Azure Databricks
What the role will involve: Coding new or modified data systems; testing & creating scalable and reliable pipelines, and applications for data analytics Managing the alignment of data availability and integration procedures to ensure that all automated processes preserve data.
