Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our already successful team in Jewson Nottingham Colwick as a Customer Service Advisor.   • Experience working in a Builders Merchants or similar industry would be beneficial
  • Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
  • Demonstrable customer service focus
  • IT literate
  • Able to create and maintain successful relationships
  • Comfortable working in all areas of the business, including outside in the Yard
  • Experience using an FLT would also be beneficial
Hours of WorkWe are in a position to offer flexible working options up to Full Time Hours. Branch working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, and Saturday from 8am to 12pmWhat will I be doing in the roleOur Customer Service Advisor is a key role in the business. A great Customer Service Advisor will help keep our business running smoothly, and continue to build and develop customer relationships and sales opportunities. To support the business, you will;
  • Maximise customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products offering specific product advice
  • Realise full potential of all customer interactions and build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback accordingly
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
  • Support in different departments in the branch, including in the Yard and Warehouse
  • Support all Company initiatives
  • Follow plans to continuously improve customer experience
  • Advise customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge
