Job Description

Position: Credit Management Team LeaderLocation: Nottingham/Hybrid working Salary: up to £31k with excellent benefits packageHarper Recruitment Group are proud working in partnership with a well-loved retail brand, are you an experienced team leader with a strong background in credit managementAre you passionate about driving results while supporting your team If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Credit Management Team Leader to join one of Nottinghams top employers.About the Role:As the Credit Management Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health for the business. You will oversee debt management and lead a team of talented professionals within this division.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly reports on debts for the retail brands of the business, effectively communicating these reports with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Work closely with and support the debt recovery team within the Contact Centre, leading a team of four credit management professionals
  • Providing guidance, mentoring, and conducting weekly catch-up sessions
  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to credit management are consistently me
  • Take a hands-on approach and support the team where needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to get involved in various tasks
  • Utilize strong communication and time management skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Make informed decisions quickly, exhibiting strong decision-making and negotiation skill
  • Employ a diplomatic approach in handling sensitive credit-related matters
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a team leader
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to work collaboratively and autonomously, managing priorities effectively
