Job Description

Job Title: Credit & Sales Ledger ClerkLocation: Nottingham, NG8Salary: £24,500Type: Full-Time, PermanentStart Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)We are hiring for a Credit & Sales Ledger Clerk that has experience in promoting and improving cash flow for a business in Nottingham. You will be working in a fun and progressive environment where you will be joining a team of financial experts in improvingthe companys cash flow.Duties of a Credit & Sales LedgerIn this role you will be working in the finance department to check invoices and create reports. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring e-commerce transactions
  • Posting and allocating receipts
  • Obtaining credit reports
  • Chasing any debts and resolving them as quickly as possible
  • Account reconciliation
  • Mid-month reviews
  • Checking invoices for any errors
Skills and experience of a Credit & Sales LedgerAs a Credit & Sales Ledger Clerk, you need to have the following experience:
  • Working as a credit controller for a minimum of 2 years
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
It would be beneficial to the Credit & Sales Ledger role if you also had:
  • Knowledge of the IT industry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Financial Systems
