Job Description

Credit and Sales ControllerNottingham£24,000Chase and Holland are thrilled to be partnered with a respected I.T. firm in Nottingham, which is looking for a Credit and Sales Controller. The company is going through a very exciting period with enormous expansion prospects, which is why this position is available. The key areas of responsibility, which report to the Finance Manager, are the management of the Sales Ledger and CreditControl in coordination with the finance team.Responsibilities:

  • Account reconciliation
  • Debt and query resolution
  • Open new customer accounts within credit control guidelines
  • Assist the Finance Manager with monthly debtor reviews
  • Assign cash receipts to invoices and credits on sales ledger accounts
  • Month-end ledger management
  • Cover finance team member absences
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • E-commerce transaction monitoring and/or input on a daily basis, e.g. IBM on WOI and HP and Computacenter on OB10
  • Raise credits and invoices from the ERP system into the finance system
Hours:37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with 2 days in the office.Required Skills & Experience:
  • Managing a clean aged debt report with minimal write-offs is an advantage
  • Ability to review and improve procedures as well as process documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with the Finance Manager in order to improve cashflow reporting
