Job Description

  • This role does involve working overtime during busy periods, which can increase your salary from £25,000 to £30,000 and accrue you extra holidays
Client DetailsOur client is a national business and you will be based at the head office near Lenton in Nottingham.DescriptionYou will be working as part of a team of 9 in credit control, and will be reporting into the Credit Control Manager. You will be responsible for a specific region, which will have c. 1,500 customers. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Opening new accounts and confirming payment terms with the customer
  • Chasing outstanding debt via email, letter and telephone
  • Dealing with customers invoice queries
  • Approving credit limits and cancelling credit facilities where necessary
  • Proving the commercial team with reports relating to customers accounts and updates on customers credit limits
  • Notify the commercial team of accounts to be placed on stop
  • Setting up payment plans
  • Setting up direct debits
  • Calculating and charging interest to customers accounts where necessary
Our client is a seasonal business, which experiences busy and quiet periods. Due to this they have a rota, and for 1 week in every month between April and September, you will be required to work from home between 6pm and 10pm on Sundays to Fridays. Additionally,1 week in every month between April and November, you will be required to work in the office between 7am and 5pm. Your normal hours outside of these shifts are 8am - 4pm, but there is flexibility with these standard hours. Working these extra hours enablesyou to take extra time off in the quieter periods between November and January and receive payment for the extra hours worked.ProfileTo apply for this position, you must have experience of working in credit control.Job OfferOur client is offering:
  • A basic salary of £25,000 but working the additional hours, increases your salary to c. £30,000
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus any additional days you have accrued
