Job Description

  • The standard hours are 8:00 - 16:00, but for three months between April and June you will be required to work 7:00 - 15:00 or 14:00 - 22:00
  • The role is offering 2 days per week home working
Client DetailsOur client is a national business and you will be based at the head office near Lenton in Nottingham.DescriptionYou will be working as part of a team of 9 in credit control, and will be reporting into the Credit Control Manager. You will be responsible for a specific region, which will have c. 1,500 customers. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Opening new accounts and confirming payment terms with the customer
  • Chasing outstanding debt via email, letter and telephone
  • Dealing with customers invoice queries
  • Approving credit limits and cancelling credit facilities where necessary
  • Proving the commercial team with reports relating to customers accounts and updates on customers credit limits
  • Notify the commercial team of accounts to be placed on stop
  • Setting up payment plans
  • Setting up direct debits
  • Calculating and charging interest to customers accounts where necessary
ProfileTo apply for this position, you must have experience of working in credit control.Job OfferOur client is offering:
  • A basic salary of £28,000
  • Standard hours are 8:00 - 16:00 (36.25 hours per week), but for 3 months between April and June, you will be required to work either 7:00 - 15:00 or 14:00 - 22:00
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • The option to work overtime - Sundays are paid at time and a half, and bank holidays are paid at double time
