Job Description

Good Evening,Adecco are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our most prestigious clients for a Credit Controller. Please see below some of the details regarding the role: Start date - ASAPEnd Date - December 2022 Location - Nottingham - Hybrid working (3 days on site 2 days from home) Pay Rate - COMPETITIVEBrief Position Summary:

  • Be a multi skilled member of the Credit Management Team responsible for all aspects of Credit relating to the sales ledger, including credit control, sales ledger maintenance, query resolution and the day-to-day management of the accounts.
  • Regularly liaise with our Customers, Commercial Team, Customer Care/Customer Supply Chain Team, Operations Team and Finance Team.
  • Deliver excellent service to our customers and be able to demonstrate efficient & effective handling of disputes and queries.
  • Manage cash collection, enforcing the payment terms, allocating payments accurately within defined timescales.
  • Manage the blocking and releasing of orders with credit issues or risk in accordance with the credit policy and driving a timely resolution of any related problems.
  • Follow-up customer payments while prioritising in terms of importance and ageing, managing the dunning process.
  • Resolve all situations relating to disputes and claims involving deliveries, deductions, commercial deals and returns.
  • Ensure that customers account is in good order, using credit notes and corrections.
  • Build and ensure structured communication and collaboration with all stakeholders to inform them of customer credit issues and answer internal requests.
  • Be an active member of the credit management team, supporting colleagues where required, share ideas, and encourage best practice.
  • Play an active role in key projects.
