Working witin the Sourcing & Costing Team, as Costing Executive your role will involve negotiation and pricing agreements with the supply base in support of the preparation, administration and summation of quotations and tenders for this lead providerof multi apparel.This opportunity offers hybrid working.Costing ExecutiveThe Job DescriptionTo attend project meetings, negotiate with suppliers, liaise with Purchasing, Technical and Commercial teams to produce accurate Business Case costs in a timely manner.Identify the optimum supply routes, giving due consideration to capacities, lead-times and any technical particulars, and maintain relevant business systems.Contact manufacturers and stockists to obtain costs, and enter into price negotiations as requiredValidation of any supply base capacity and lead-time considerationsCompilation of style level garment costs and conduct comparisons in a timely mannerDeveloping and maintaining spreadsheets, formulas and database applications, to present costs in relevant formatsMaintenance of the central supplier cost databasePresentation of costing scenarios, given the requirements of the project brief, including alternative sourcing optionsAssist in the generation of the initial critical path, to manage delivery of fabric developments, garment samples and costs to the required timelineAttending relevant project meetings and updating the group on progressAwareness and understanding of importance of role in critical path and task management as part of a wider teamUnderstanding and managing assigned tasksUnderstanding industry ethical, compliance and quality standard requirements, where relevant, as part of the cost negotiation and supplier selectionCosting ExecutiveThe Person SpecificationA high level of Textile based Product/Technical knowledge.
