Job Description

The Role SummaryWe are looking for a Control System Engineer to design and develop automated processes.The RoleThe responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Design control systems.
  • Development and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all machine and automation controls meet current health and safety legislation requirements.
  • To troubleshoot existing machine and automation control systems.
  • To suggest and assist with improvement recommendations for the department or Company.
The personFor this role, it is essential that you have the following:
  • Technical qualification in electrical engineering or an engineering controls related discipline: HNC, HND, BEng.
  • Experience in PLC programming and HMI development.
  • Experience with servo control.
  • Experience with OMRON and BECKHOFF systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes.
Desired:
  • Experience of networked systems.
  • Experience in VBA programming.
  • Experience of working with vision systems.
  • Previous experience of working in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment.
