Job Description

Condition Monitoring AnalystNottingham / Home basedto c£37k neg dep exp + generous bonus, pension and benefitsOur client is a household name in the rapidly expanding distribution sector and demonstrates a rich heritage spanning more than 80 years of providing solutions and products to engineers throughout the world. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, the Technical Operations division (responsible for the delivery of a range of reliability services including CBM, Lubrication Managed Services, Energy Monitoring and RCM) are now seeking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Condition Monitoring Analyst to complement their established and professional team working both at home and at their prestigious Nottingham based facility.Tasked with delivering the Condition Monitoring analysis capability and providing a seamless service for analysis activities, driving customer experiences, growth and margins, you will deliver an analysis package that is efficient and effective and delivers a best-in-class customer experience at the lowest sustainable cost. You will be responsible for the compilation of clear and concise reports based on your findings and will understand the marketplace and customers maintenance strategies and be confident in promoting Process Improvements in order to eradicate non-value activities and introduce governance initiatives to ensure future proof solutions are implemented.Responsible for managing various CM analysis contracts of c£1m, you will deliver a high-quality insight from all CM data and will possess previous experience and knowledge of how to test machines correctly, how to diagnose faults accurately and how to correctly ascertain types of fault, performing additional tests to verify your analysis as required. You will also analyse vibration spectra, time waveforms and demodulation signatures in order to diagnose machinery faults from a wide-ranging customer base throughout the UK. As a Condition Monitoring Analyst Subject Matter Expert with familiarity of ultrasound, thermography, oil analysis and motion amplification to support wider customer engagement, you will operate as a brand ambassador on a national and international stage through Company, Network and Industry events and will ensure compliance against all recognised standards both internally and externally and implement and execute risk strategies as required.Other responsibilities for this varied and challenging Condition Monitoring Analyst role will include assisting with the development of the Technical function and the wider sales teams and strategy aligned to Northern Europe, whilst delivering against relevant KPI measures and upholding Quality Assurance against internal and external audits ensuring compliance is maintained. Essentially you will demonstrate exceptional customer facing skills that will allow you to liaise with customers to explain and expand on CM analysis results and develop relationships for the future and ensure the business remains the First Choice for maintenance professionals.To be considered for this varied and challenging role, the successful candidate will be both self-motivated and well organised and able to demonstrate previous Vibration Analysis Training - ISO Category II or Equivalent and relevant engineering qualifications - along with strong writing, organisational, communication, customer relationship and presentation skills at all levels. You will be capable of drawing on several years experience in industry with knowledge and experience of machines including fans, compressors, conveyors, screens, pumps, blowers, cranes, mixers and stirrers along with a high level of proficiency and computer Literacy using MS Office and Vibration Analysis Applications with the ability to learn to use bespoke software as necessary. Essentially you will demonstrate an excellent understanding of Reliability & Condition Monitoring and the role it plays in a maintenance maturity journey and hold a full clean UK driving licence.Familiarity of Emerson CSi2130 - CSi2140 vibration meters and AMS Machinery Manager Software would prove distinctly advantageous although this is not essential - as attitude and enthusiasm are just as important and training will be provided where required.
