Computer Vision Engineer, Research Scientist, C++, OpenCLMy client, a medical R&D start-up are in urgent need of a Computer Vision Engineer, Research Scientist to take ownership of the design, development and implementation of image processing algorithms.The Computer Vision Engineer, will be the sole Computer Vision Engineer reporting directly in to the Head of R&D have an enormous amount of autonomy and instrumental in the expansion of the Research team.This innovative start-up, is set to become a market leader in their industry and this is an excellent opportunity for a Research Scientist to work to develop an application that will genuinely save lives!Joining a small team of exceptionally talented individuals, you will utilise Cuda or OpenCL to implement various computer vision image-processing algorithms on a GPU, embedded in a pioneering software application.What’s required of the Computer Vision EngineerJoining a start-up requires someone with flexibility, pragmatism and initiative, as well as a willingness to embrace problems to work to find solutions, but the work will be hugely rewarding, as you get to see each day, the impact that you’re having upon the product’s progress.
