Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to ensure that their company adheres to legal standards and in house policies. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations in all aspects and of the business, auditing for and identifying actions needed for areas of non-compliance, as well as providing training and guidance on compliance matters.Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and overseeing control systems to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Evaluating the efficiency of controls and improving them continuously.
  • Revising procedures and reports to periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
  • Drafting, modifying and implementing company policies.
  • Collaborating with teams throughout the business to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Assessing the businesss future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
  • Reviewing the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and providing advice or training.
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Preparing reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
    • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as compliance manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrys standards and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Ability to balance the financial, legal, clinical and ethical aspects of the business.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to understand the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field.
  • Experience of compliance management in a healthcare or biomedical sciences setting.
  • Possessing a postgraduate qualification in compliance is preferred.
