Community Midwife - Teenage Pregnancy Team Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) with a turnover of £900 million and 14,000 staff is one of the biggest and busiest acute teaching trusts in Europe. Nottingham has also achieved the status of a Baby Friendly Accredited Trust from UNICEF.An opportunity has arisen for you to join our Teenage Pregnancy Team.You will be part of an existing team of midwives who provide individualised, high quality care for the Teenagers in Nottingham/Nottinghamshire.You will be an experienced Band 6 midwife , and be confident to work autonomously in the hospital and within the community.Teenagers often have complex needs so you will gain experience working closely with the safeguarding teams, perinatal mental health teams, the education authorities, the family nurse partnership and the consultants for teenage pregnancy.You will be based in the community providing continuity in antenatal and postnatal care.
