Community Engagement Officer£23,000 + BenefitsNottinghamWe have an exceptionally exciting opportunity to act as an advocate for one of the Nottinghamshires most iconic tourist attractions. Engaging with the local community the successful candidate will encourage participation with the Trust through creating inspiring communication and building long term partnerships.Duties will include* Creating and developing the community engagement and participation programme* Implementing operational systems and processes* Deliver participation activities to local community organisations and groups both on and off-site* Liaise with the L&D Officer and internal Volunteer Manager to realise the objectives of the wider Activity plan* Collaboratively work with the education, visitor experience, fundraising, retail, finance and communications teams* Represent the Trust at local and regional events raising awareness and building relationships* Monitor, evaluate and create reports, ensuring participants records are updated on the database systemSkills and experience required* Experience of creating and delivering engaging activities and events* Proven experience working with diverse groups and individuals* Not for profit sector experience or heritage knowledge advantageous* Ability to create and design a variety of marketing material and external communications* UK Driving LicenseThis is a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest in their local community and is a natural relationship builder.
