Job Description

Cloud UC Engineer - Remote, UKOur client, a leading Cloud first Solution provider is looking for a hands-on Delivery and Support Engineer to join their expanding Unified Comms & Contact Centre division in the Enterprise client team.This role will involve both remote project delivery and support to a large client base dealing with customer solutions ranging from 100-10,000 seats covering both a national and international client base.They are looking for someone at a senior level that can step straight into a Lead role or someone who is committed to making that next step with the full support and development from the senior team.Skills Required:-The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar technical Cloud based UC/Telecoms/UCaaS environment and will be familiar with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes and ideally project delivery.

  • Youll have previous experience of supporting/delivering Hosted Voice and or Hosted Contact Centre solutions from ideally 8X8 or Gamma Horizon, RingCentral, Genesys, Five9, Microsoft Teams, BroadSoft or similar
  • You will have previous experience in a similar technical environment and will be familiar with incident, problem and change management processes
  • Youll have previous experience building and operating large, unified communications platforms
  • Youll have experience with underlying voice protocols such as SIP, SBC’s, Direct Routing, basic Networking etc.
  • You will be an excellent team player with a proactive mind set, with a passion for working together as a team to achieve goals
  • You will thrive in an environment where you are trusted to be work smart and work hard without micro management
  • Youll have an outgoing and welcoming personality, able to adapt to differing customer groups at ease, taking pride in providing a first-class customer experience at all times
  • Ideally 8X8 certified but full training can be offered
  • It is essential that you have previous Hosted voice experience preferably with a solution Provider rather than a single client solution.
