Mental Health Services for Older People are looking to recruit a Band 6 Clinical Lead for Silver Birch Ward which is a dementia ward based at Highbury Hospital.We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, forward thinking and motivated Clinical Lead with experience or invested interest in working with our client group. You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the mental health, physical health and social needs relating to this client group.We are seeking to recruit someone who has the relevant knowledge and skills to provide clinical leadership to the ward’s multidisciplinary team. You will be a visible point of contact to junior staff requiring clinical guidance, expertise and support in the delivery of high-quality, person centred and compassionate care.You will need to demonstrate the necessary role modelling qualities in line with Trust Values to promote high standards of care and contribute to service development and transformation.You will be expected to provide clinical and managerial supervision and appraisal systems for a group of staff as well as maintaining your own continuing professional development. You will be expected to deputise in absence of Ward Manager and support the ward manager in maintaining effective team working processes including e- rostering, sickness and attendance management and PAD.It is essential that you are able to work flexible hours over 24-hour period 7 days a week if needed.
