Job Description

A Client Manager is being recruited to join an insurance business specialising in insolvency to join an established team in what will be a great opportunity!Client DetailsThe business operates as an insurance broker, that was acquired by a large insurance group, meaning a lot of healthy changes have been made across the business, with a big emphasis on culture and well-being. The business is rapidly growing, acquiring businessesregularly, and is on track to become the market leader in its sector.DescriptionAs Client Manager you will:

  • Manage a team of Client Advisers responsible for placing and administering insurance policies for insolvency practitioners and probate solicitors in respect of companies and individuals
  • Ensure all policies are managed effectively
  • Ensure cases are allocated correctly and that the overall service provision to clients is carried out effectively
  • Set the teams KPIs and targets, and make sure that each team member meets their objectives and manages their own workload
  • Liaise with clients to ensure queries are dealt with quickly and effectively
  • Manage the relationship with insurance underwriters
  • React to risk exposure notifications relating to new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Reviewing documentation set by the team for new business, mid-term adjustment, renewals and cancellations
  • Monitoring all risk information on the system
ProfileThe successful applicant to the Client Manager role must have:
  • Experience working in the insurance broking industry, ideally in commercial or household spheres
  • Strong management skills with experience working in a target driven, fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent systems and IT knowledge (Acturis would be advantageous)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Management level exposure must include 121s, appraisals, disciplinaries ideally
