Job Description

AR511 - Class 2 ADR DriverLocation:NottinghamSalary: £14.30 Per Hour + OvertimeOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 ADR Driver on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities for the Class 2 ADR Driver:

  • Loading of vehicles at the depot whilst following all H&S guidelines and operational procedures
  • The safe delivery of fuel to a range of domestic, commercial and agricultural customers
  • Ensuring all vehicle daily walkaround safety checks are completed to the highest standard
  • Ensuring all paperwork relating to the loading and unloading is filled in correctly
  • Ability to work to all written procedures and guidelines, WTD and drivers’ hours regulations
Skills and Qualifications for the Class 2 ADR Driver:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of our delivery area (Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire)
  • Friendly and polite manner
  • Class 2 / Cat C HGV Licence
  • ADR in Core, Class 3 (Flammable liquids) and Tanks
  • Petroleum Driver Passport (preferable but not essential)
  • Previous tanker driving experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Valid DCPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tacho Card
  • Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
Location: NottinghamSalary: £14.30 Per Hour + Overtime
